Large Cooked Shrimp
Description:Tail-On Colossal Fancy Cooked Shrimp are the classic shrimp cocktail. Full-bodied, delicately flavored shrimp are peeled and deveined expertly, and perfectly cooked. Never overcooked or undercooked, each shrimp is uniform in shape for superb appearance. 26/30 shrimp/lb. Coated in a protective water glaze.
Packaging: About 120 peeled and deveined shrimp, bulk packaged. (4.0 lb. net weight)
Serving Suggestions: These plump beauties are the ultimate in quality and convenience for parties, and can be served with sauce over pasta, rice, creole, or casserole. Use in shrimp cocktails, shrimp salads, soups or your own signature entree. Can be used chilled or hot.
Cooking Instructions: Place shrimp in a clean container under cool running tap water until thawed (about 8 minutes). Immediately after thawing, remove shrimp from water and drain in a colander or on paper towels to remove excess water. Drained shrimp may be served immediately when time is a factor, but for best eating quality, place drained shrimp in a dry, sealed container and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Do not add water. After chilling, drain excess moisture from container and re-close. [Handled in this manner, thawed shrimp will remain of the highest quality for up to 3 days (72 hours)].
